Thanks! As far as how how we did on Thursday... 4 Boss encounters down!We took care of Attumen, Moroes, Romulo and Julianne, Maiden!!! Way to go folks!!! We did a fantastic job! Several areas that we can improve on though:Watch the face pulls. There should be no need for the extra repair bill for the entire raid.Be extra cautious of casting AOE's around shackled mobs and ensure you have the right mob targeted.Remember to use your big cooldowns and know when to use them. They are there for a reason.Always repair before coming to Kara.Remember your consumables. Don't always count on others to bring extras. At a minimun, we should all have 2 stacks of our most used potions like Health and Mana. Also, don't forget at least 1 stack of food buff food. Here were the participants:MahnalorThandrennMaggotmilkZuklenDudepalBlaveBenvoloKurumiDrpKrikorAnd the Lootage:Attumen Worgen Claw Necklace - Drp Stalker's War Bands - DEMoroes Shadow-Cloak of Dalaran - Benvolo Emerald Ripper - DrpRomulo & Julianne Despair - Mahnalor Ribbon of Sacrifice - MaggotmilkMaiden of Virtue Barbed Choker of Discipline- Mahnalor Shard of the Virtuous - ZuklenSunday we attempt Curator, Chess Event and *possibly* Shade. It will be an experience to remember regardless of how much we accomplish that night.

Please be sure to read up on wowwiki about these encounters and the suggestions posted above by other guildees. If everyone is on a little earlier, we can start then. Otherwise, let's focus on the first pull starting at 8pm.

I will have the stats from last night posted shortly so we can all see how we did and find areas to improve. Results have been posted.
http://www.lossendil.com/wws/?report=5b ... lccaPlease do not see this report as a "ha ha, I out dps'd you!" Instead, take a deeper look at your own personal stats and see what kind of things you might be able to improve on. (And also keep in mind that this reads my own personal combat log and might not be 100% accurate... though it is close enough

For example, I noticed that on one of the last reports I was not using my Shield Block talent as much as I should have. This one talent , combined with other factors such as defense, help me to completely avoid crushing blows thus preventing dmg to me from "spiking." This leads to more effective healing , which helps a tank survive longer, etc... So I took that as a challenge to concentrate on that a bit more this time. Another example... being an MT, I should be absorbing a brunt of the damage dealt by the mobs in the instance (including bosses.) I went from 36% to 44%. I looked at it as a challenge to keep improving and absorbing more of the dmg. That meant keeping my threat up, targeting appropriately, etc. Anyway... you folks get the idea Challenge yourself... don't just settle for average... Hooray progress! Boo creepy foot doctor...-Mahnalor

Hello, Can we discuss the loot rule on bringing an Alt. I think if you are there you can role. I believe people should ask themselves if this char is going to Gruel before rolling, and pass if there is little chance of that char going. However, that being said it is probably hard to guess on what chars we will need for Gruel, and we will probably need some alternates in any given week. -Just my thoughts..

Its painfully obvious that we will be short on healers going into Gruul's, so keep that in mind when rolling on stuff with alts (if they are a healer).-Scott

I would say at minimum 6, considering we currently take 3 for a 10 man, but this is another discussion, due for its own thread. I will start one up.

Hello Fellow Guildees,This Sunday was quite the success with us taking down Curator, completing the Chess Event and almost getting Shade of Aran down

We managed to get him down to 3%.Group 2 continue to progress with the help of some group 1 folks helping out with their mains and several with their alts. Our regulars are stepping up to the task and improving on their knowledge of the instance and group dynamics. We also have group 2 folks helping out with alts that they have gotten to 70 and sacrificed the time of their main for the benefit of the group.Which leads me to the next part of this post... loot. There have been several issues concerning loot lately and I would like to head these issues off ASAP before they get out of hand. Each run has led to at least a couple of disgrunteled guildees concerning the system and fairness. This really shouldnt be the case as most of us are RL friends or have played with each other for a long time... So this is what I propose for future runs in raid group 2 until, and if, we decide to put in more of a formalized process. All classes roll for items they can equip and use regardless of main/alt status. If it helps the guild progress then we should ALL aboard no matter what the outcome. It will be up to those whom decide to roll/pass to do so under their own free will. Loot will not be rushed so folks can chat it out and work things out in a mature and fair manner. If more than one person rolls then so be it... the fate of the dice is in their hands....Should the matter get out-of-hand (eg one person obviously having an imbalance of loot) then they will be spoken with directly. No posts, no rummors, no ongoing saga... just a polite chat. Common sense folks... if you just happen to be get lucky with the dice, please be courteous to your fellow guildees. It is my hope that we can get back to basics and keep moving forward by providing a friendly and fair looting system for everyone. This is not meant to be an end-all solution, but an interim one that puts the ownership of fairness on EACH and EVERYONE, not the raid leader. For those that have been put in the unfair predicament of not being able to roll for beneficial loot, I apologize if it was me whom put you there. It was not my original intention. So with that said, let's please move on...Without further adieu...loot from Sunday:Curator:Gloves of the Fallen Champion - KrikorForest Wind Shoulderpads - BlaveChess Event:Fiend Slayer Boots - DERing of Recurrence - Kurumi

Also try to bear in mind that karazhan drops 23 pieces of epic loot every week. At the current progression rate, it will soon be a weekly loot piñata, so don't be greedy.

I would have to agree with Jose. I would rather have it so if you are there you would roll on it. If it will be an upgrade then you should roll on it. Also if you want to discuss with the person who won then go ahead and talk to them and see if they will pass or whatever, but I think thats a great idea. And this goes back to the ZG days on how we did it and from the olden days and that was never a problem. But with what Miramel said 23 epics drop that is alot of epics and I am sure we will be going to farm this instance soon with the progress we had this past thursday and sunday, great job once again and thanks to Dude and Zuk and Moggotmilk for the great healing job they did and the extra filling in by Blave. So hope this meathod will work out better.
