Is anyone available to kill gruul on 1/1?  It's kinda the day after and most don't have anything planned except nursing hangovers...  Post here if you know you will or will not be available.

Honestly with such a beginning - and losing a few high DPS right away, I think our HKM could be considered a "great recovery".  Losing that DPS as well, makes the last phase (when he fear/charges) kind of a pain in the ass.  I'm constantly chasing him then getting feared as he runs back to the rest of the raid -- or getting crushed like mad when he sticks to me in 6 seconds of motionless fear (which I suppose is arguably better than him crushing the raid).  Couple things could make that better:* Every other fear/charge I have to use intercept instead of intervene since it's on cooldown, I should be cycling in my warrior berserker rage for the fear resist every other time.* Off tank dragging him back - like the spider boss in ZG, or how sometimes we react to the warrior trash in the instance (though sometimes that is problematic with the trash -- layering taunts from other tanks instead of taunting off a non-tank.)I think that next time we should try this technique -- it should afford a good amount of control.Also next week I propose we *start* with Magtheridon -- we're good enough to one-two shot these two bosses as evidenced by the recovery on HKM, and we really need to get some practice attempts in when we're fresh.

That seems like a good idea to me, I say if we are not gonna start with gruuls we should set a time that we will call it for on mag  if things are not going good. as much as I want to progress I am not to interested in staying up until 4 or 5 to finish up gruuls

Yea, certainly we should start with the new content(whether it's mag... or SSC O:-) ). Maybe give it 1/2 a dozen tries, and unless we're really close to downing him, move back to gruuls.
