If they mean new gear, not purchased with arena/honor that has resilience -- I have to say WOOT.  Having really only recently started PvPing with my rogue --- I'm definately suffering an imbalance in gear, I'm amazed at how tough it is to kill some high resilience folks, and how easy of a time they have with my paper thin armor.

The gems that drop from heroics will no longer be unique-equipped either.  Rumors are floating that the pvp honor gems will be the same way... but I haven't seen a blue post to confirm that.

If you look on Wowwiki or whatever that site is called...they have a post for the 2.4 patch changes, collected from blue posts. The majority of the "changes" listed there are link referenced to blue posts.
