FA 10-man loot policy

There was some confusion surrounding a situation that arose this last week, and I thought it might be a good time/place to go over the Forged Alliance 10-man loot policy. The answer: There is no FA 10-man loot policy.Loot is up to the arbitrary distribution of the raid leader, everyone rolls - but the final call will always be the RLs. It is up to you to not only proactively tell the raid leader if you have special requirements (like you'll be rolling on cloth while wearing plate/mail/leather), but I also feel you should inform those in the raid that you'll be taking loot designed for their classes. If you dont like that, if you dont trust your raid leader to make decisions based on the raid/guilds best interest and fairness - then there are plenty of other things you could be doing with your time. Essentially there are just too many factors to take into consideration to come up with any sort of standard policy .. Personally -- I might adjust the randomness of the dice based on the following:-- Did this character get loot this run? -- Is this a main or an alt?-- Does this character run PvE often? come prepared?-- Is this an item person X has been waiting forever for?-- Is this guy a shmuck?-- Did this guy come and sub in at our request? (hero)-- Is this a PUG? (hero)-- Arbitrariness.I trust my fellow raid leaders do make decisions that will most benefit the guild/raid, do you?
