Well it's been 15 minutes since I restarted my game and tried again but nothing yet ...

potential fix from the forums:
"I went into my firewall on my computer and blocked the port 1119 (Battle.net) TCP. This disables real id and if you log out you cannot relog in"

if it makes you feel any better, i was dumb and logged out and am stuck now too
