Gathgor is almost 1/2 way through 67 now.  Tig is 70 and I think Mahnalor is right behind me.  I have not really studied the end game content at this point, but what would the guild say about specs for some of the 70 instances for warriors and then also the end game 25 man stuff.  I am currently specced Arms and having fun with it, but suspect that I will go back to protection when we start doing the 25 man stuff.

Thanks for bringing this up Gath.  Depending on how many warriors want to tank, it may change my raid build back to resto at some point for Myrdinn.  I plan to stay feral a bit into 70 so I can have some fun with PVP and maybe help tank some 10-man content.  But moving into 25-man, I'd be up for going back to resto if needed.  But want to wait until we figure out a general raid group and make sure the respec to the nerfed tree is worth the change.

I imagine we'll need a couple prot-specced folks for Karazhan, although I know nothing about the place.  I think come 25-man each class will have greater flexibility and will be able to contribute in multiple ways.  But we have to get everyone to 70 and attuned to all the 5-man content first, including getting revered with many factions.  And then comes the Karazhan attunement, which I don't know if any of us have attained yet, because it's f___ing hard.

This brings up a point about future raiding.  I have trouble committing a full evening of WOW on wednesdays and thursdays due to family.  Is there any plan for raiding other nights?  I typically get on those nights, but only for short bursts. I would also like to suggest helping out lowbies (low 60's) with quests since they can be done with much more rapidity (and therefore quicker leveling).  I was helping Cragnor and Xandor last night complete quests in Terrokar instead of myself going to the higher level areas.  I think we will get more 70's more quickly that way. What about guild recruitment?  We need more poeple in the guild to do those 25 man runs.  I have not really seen any new faces that were not alts recently.  And I do realize that we want helpful and supportive people and not a bunch of Hempy look alikes.  I think we need to show off our guild some in the main city areas once every couple of weeks so people see us.  Are there any other suggestions for attracting players to our guild?  Recruits really do not want to be told that we are helpful and supportive, they want to see it.  Any thoughts?

As far as Tig goes i wont be speccing Full Prot unless absolutely needed, most of the points from 20 on in prot are not needed to tank well, so i will keep my hybrid build. Am hoping to go back to Arms as soon as i land a wicked 2h as DW is useless in PvP and im thinking more Arena viability.

I think that the high level protection talents really aid the main tank in survivability though. Tig, have you checked out that sword that you can buy in Halaa?  80 dps.  I bought one and put crusader on it.  It is nice.  of course, there are probably some blue 2 handers at the level 70 area which I am not at yet.

Hasn't Crusader been nerfed for those above 60 somehow?  I thought I remembered reading that in one of the patch notes.

I don't know about any plans for other nights, wed is just what has always brought about the most people. But really on that topic and on recruiting, it's still a bit early to be really worried about it. We don't even have enough people 70 to start attempting Karazahn, let alone the 25man stuff; not to mention the half a dozen level 70 instance runs needed (in the correct order in the quest chain) just to get everyone attuned to Karazahn.

But on that note, once anyone is 68+ I would encourage everyone to head over to the entrance to Karazahn in deadwind pass (yes, back in the old world, east of darkshire) and start the quest chain. The first part is two solo quests in the area, and then a trip up to dalaran to talk to a mage.

Gath unfortunately 80 DPS is weaksauce at 70, even the lowest of 2 handers in the 70 instances are 93 dps+ And take a look at your prot tree, after 20 points in besides shield mastery at 25 there is nothing that directly contributes to you lasting longer in a fight, improved Def stance is ok but really doesnt add up to much in the grand scheme of things, 4% damage resuctiuon in the course of a boss fight equals 1 major heal maybe. Lets say our boss is whacking for around 1500 per hit, thats a whole 60 less damage you will take.  Vitality increases stam by 5% if you put 5 points into it, at 10,000 health thats only an extra 500, probably wouldnt add up to 1 hit from a boss. Now thats not to say some of the other talents wont help you hold agro longer but lets be honest, you let a tank get a few sunders and a revenge in and unless he resets agro you will hold him the entire fight.
