Bad Ideas

The Race got cancelled? Because it was a Bad Idea? Although I was not sure that I was going to be able to make it, I was going to try to participate. Some people can get very serious playing this game and it is nice to have some levity from time to time. I like this guild in that no one seems to take things toooooo seriously. I joined a guild once with my horde toon and the GM decided to have a cliff jump: all of the guildies were to jump off this cliff for no better reason than to do it and look foolish and some prize was given. I think they all died except for the mages! I think little events like this are okay to have once in awhile. I might also suggest that we take a guild photo somewhere like in front of Sulfuras or maybe Hogger's dead body! And we should also have a guild crafting night but for people NOT in the guild. This might attract attention from people looking for a guild. I would not do it in Outland, but rather in SW or IF where people are in the high 50's and 40's and may been some items crafted that they cannot at that point. We would charge non-guildies, but do crafting for guildies for free of course. When non-guilded players see a bunch of FA people standing around crafting stuff for othres, I think they will take notice and want to join up. Free advertising. Any thoughts?

/agreeIm all in favor of stupidness, but with the xpac still so new, im not so sure race at this time was a good idea. As for the particulars of the race, when we do have it, i think it should be completely naked and no speed enhancing abilities of any kind.I like the crafting idea btw, can make everything for cost of mats or free with mats for out of guildies.

Honestly guys im up for anything that involves stupidity and goofyness. But at this point i know im just more interested in trying to lvl my char's. Ive played Tig a lot more then i was intending to as he is needed for tanking a lot but its hindered Wanda's progress, but i bet im the only guy in the guild with 2 almost 63's

And yes i agree let's do something that draws attention to the guild, in a good way, it is a good way to promote FA and possibly draw in new members. If we do a race or whatever we could also announce it and anyone who wanted to participate could also join us, not just guildies. Maybe the reward isnt the same for a PUG but you ge the idea. And as for rewards i had a few suggestions. We could give away some BOE blue loots we find that maybe nobody needs, or some decent crafted gear. Or a few free enchants etc. etc.

In my opinion, if we're gonna do something silly or whatnot, let's do it at the Horde's expense. You know, try killing as many of their Wind Rider Masters as possible. Or any of the normal PvP stuff. I really don't know what I'm trying to say I guess. I'm sorry you had to read this.
