I ran a test with Koko and if you are Battletag invited to a PvE realm, you are indeed flagged as a PvE player. Doing all my dailies without threat of ganking made me feel like a wuss though.

Okay, having done a mostly complete set of dailies using the cross realm invite, here are a few notes.
1) When you join another server, the daily quests you pick up still come from Destromath. This was probably done so that people couldn't super farm rep by hopping around servers in order to get every daily possible.
2) Most daily quests work, but there are a few exceptions. For example, Golden Lotus has a daily where you kill the Behemoth while it is being summoned (by killing the four NPCs around it) and a daily where you kill the Behemoth itself after it is activated. I was unable to complete the summoning version because Koko's server had the activated version.
3) I was able to kill the Sha of Anger in a raid on Koko's server and get loot since I had not done it on Destromath yet this week.
Yeah, it was definitely weird doing dailies without covering my back. I was able to use my PvE shadow gear instead of my PvP shadow gear, but it didn't make much difference (since my PvE shadow gear has 15% hit which is way over what's needed for dailies).

TBH I haven't had anyone mess with me a single time during dailies in this expansion. Maybe everyone knows feral is OP self heals?
