  Yea looks like a bad record in the database. And Jon, you guess is right... the user id field isnt set correctly.   Since I cant run queries directly on the dbase server from work, it'll have to wait till later to fix... i'll play with it tonight.

Good news folks.... I was able to get the site moved to a different server and the service unavailable plague seems to have been healed. If anyone sees that particular error please let me know... if you see any kind of funkyness, please reply to this thread and I'll look into it. Now I'll get on to ...

well the upgrade is complete but there is still some anomolies I'll need to work out. Images not being served properly, sporadic service unavailable messages... i've had the site moved to its own app pool so maybe that will help.
