What is your raid experience?
10m LK, 10/25m ToTC, 10/25m Ony, 10/25m VoA

Why did you leave your previous (current) guild?
Inactive, Immature. They didn't prioritize guild members for their raids.

Does anyone in our guild know you?
Not that I know of; I recently transferred to this server so I'm fairly new.

How did you find out about our guild?
I saw ldravenl advertise on trade chat.

How many alts do you have and is this your main?
This is my main. I currently have one alt; however its only level 8.

What are your play times?
My play times are(Realm time):
2pm-3pm, 6pm-12am on weekdays. (I take a break for AP homework)
12pm-9pm on fridays and saturdays.
1pm-6pm on sundays.


Which of our raid times would you be able to make?

Tuesday/Thursday.

Would you be willing to sit out if it is necessary without a fuss?
Yes.

Have you spent proper time and money into your gear / enchants / gems?
I've definately spent alot of time for my gear. I'm in the process of earning money/reputation for enchants and gems.

Raiders are expected to use consumables during raids. In the following categories what consumable would you use and why?
- Flask/Elixirs: Flask of Steelskin for the stamina bonus.
- Well Fed: Lavascale Minestrone or Mushroom Sauce Mudfish for the Avoidance and stamina bonus.
- Potion: Earthen Potion as the armor benefits exceeds that of other potions'.

What is the basic gemming strategy for your character?
The basic gemming strategy is with Mastery as a focus and use a combination of avoidance (dodge/parry) stats and stamina to unlock a socket bonus if mastery isn't available.

What is the basic reforging strategy for your character?
Reforge haste,crit, expertise and even hit(due to vindication) into Mastery.

What is your favorite boss fight and why? What boss haven't you fought that you're looking forward to the most?
My tank experience is insufficient for me to have a favorite boss fight for Cata raids at the moment.
I'm looking forward to a majority of the bosses in cataclysm raids because I've heard this tier is much harder then WoTLK and I enjoy challenges.

What boss mod(s) do you use?

The boss-specific mods I use are: DBM and Omen.

What website(s) do you use to read up on encounters proactively?
For class information: Elitist jerks. For encounters: Tankspot, Youtube for video guides and even wowhead comments(as unorthodox as it seems; they proved to be useful for me.)

I'm a fairly new 85. I started from scratch in building my PvE set about 8-9 days ago, so my gear may not suit the recommendations. I'm a good player not just with WoW, but video games in general. I'm 15, but maturity would definately not be an issue. My gemming right now needs to be fixed, however I'm spending most of my money leveling up Blacksmithing so my gold is tied up at the moment. The only thing worth mentioning is that I haven't tanked any Cataclysm raids yet besides BH and BoT in which everyone had to leave after 1/4. I'm a fast learner and I noticed you guys needed tanks and so I hope this could be looked over. If you perservere, I hopefully would like to benefit the guild instead of the liablity I would become when I initially join the guild. If not then, I would still like to be a part of the guild to help as much as I can

This is one of the most complete applications I've seen and from a 15 y/o no less. I can't speak to tankadin specific stuff but your gear looks good overall. However in order to be raider rank all ilvl 346+ gear needs to be properly enchanted (don't worry about maelstrom crystal enchants). You said you're working on the rep for enchants and that's good. So once that's done and you enchant your chest and weapon you can be invited as a raider. In the mean time you can be invited as a member and then promoted once you get the enchants taken care of.

PS - we usually like people to be 18+ for maturity reasons but I get the feeling you're a more mature 15 y/o. So it shouldn't be a problem, as long as you don't make guild chat look like trade chat we'll be okay. You just won't get my pac man and back to the future references, which is already a certain other tankadin doesn't get them either and we're the same age.
