High King attempt with Foundation -- Saturday 9/15 6pm Who all can make it? Combined we should have well more than the necessary 25 on so we're planning on inviting the best group makeup. This attempt will be saturated in "win", and hopefully either point us in the right direction for our own recruitment -- or perhaps be a beginning to a beutiful relationship as we continue onto 25 man content. Based on our initial conversation, there are probably going to be about 10-15 spots we're looking to fill from our guild.

I can be available. I *might* have a friend coming in to town to visit, but I should be able to sit him on the couch for an hour or two while we kill malgaur and spit on his corpse.

Killean can't make it, I have a bachelor party to go to. Also, can't commit fully to a saturday raid night but will play it by ear from week to week.

Well as much as I would like to go, I can not say for sure that I will be there. Saturdays are when I actually get to spend time with my Girlfriend, so I probably will not be on. I am hoping that Foundation has mage tank available. I know I had a pretty important job, and I feel bad to leave you guys hanging, but Saturday is kind of "our day". If you are in need of a mage tank badly, and can post on the forums by like friday, I may be able to come for a little while, but that would be a last resort.

I did ask specifically if he had a mage tank and he said "yes".For what it's worth -- and based on a couple comments I've read. I dont think Saturday is going to be THE Gruul day, this is just a trial run with this other guild.Wednesday is still pegged as the FA eventual Gruul raid IMHO ...

Just so everyone knows where I stand on this, I need to relay what happened ... I was having a conversation with Dionia in Ironforge when Hellwarrior walked over. I noticed him and waved, and he spit on me. I /boggle'd him and continued my conversation with Dee, but our conversation was steered sideways to a "wtf? GM of the guild we're romancing and that's the greeting?" Though he followed up with a "what's up, dude?" shortly thereafter, I didn't respond - and as I was about to log after chatting anyways, I ignored him instead of getting into the 30 minute rant his actions probably deserved. This is the kind of playful banter you *might* have with your closest friends, but in the middle of Ironforge when negotiating helping each other's guilds overcome the hurdle to 25 man content ... ... ... Perhaps this is a bit of overreaction on my part -- but I will not be attending the raid Saturday. I hope that people who are on and want their invites get them, but he's leading the show without my assistance, so you might want to send him a /tell on game day to let him know your availability.

So who exactly is still planning on going after the retardation of their MT? I was thinking about it today, and if they are still planning on going, and they prepare for it, and we don't show up, it's going to look real bad for the guild. I can totally see them bitchin about it in trade, and us hurting for it in future realationships with other guilds. Should we suck it up and go this time because we said we would? And it is quite possible that the rest of the guild is more mature and not so "cognatively impared"... What do you think?

And I am not trying to condone the actions of their tank, or downplay it... I'm just tryin to think in terms of what's best for the guild from a political standpoint. I would be way pissed if we were told by another guild that we were going to run at a certain time, and then they didn't show reguardless of if it was due to a stupid move on behalf of one of our members. That memeber would get slapped, but that guild would be blackballed by myself and the 20 people I choose to tell. You know what they say about people and experiences... If they have a good one they tell only a couple people... A bad one and they tell five times that... Or something like that. Hehe.

No skin off my back if anyone wants to go -- you're all more than welcome. I'm making my own choice for myself, you guys do the same - I'll still respect you in the morning.As for "looking bad" - f' him and the f'ing horse he rode in on. Politics? If he's *potentially* going to blackball us - then *potentially* he's even a bigger ass. I had a half hour vent conversation about his guild and ours, I wont go into the full details but lets just say that the spitting was what pushed me over the edge I was standing real close to. We had negotiated early in the week and I told him I would get back to him with specific numbers -- nothing has been said more than that.He can say whatever he wants in trade IMHO, lots of dickheads do that.
