4.3 Dragon Soul and Raid 3 (HP's, kek, Group)

Season 10 ends on Tue. Nov. 29th which means that the Dragon Soul raid hits on Tue. Nov. 29th (recall that season 9 ended on Tue. June 28th and Firelands hit on June 28th).

I currently plan to suspend Raid 3 for two to four weeks. I strongly encourage people to run the 4.3 five mans which drop iLvl 378 gear (that's the same as normal mode Firelands). After about two to four weeks, I will gauge the stability of the Dragon Soul raid -- this means Blizzard nerfs, DBM addon changes, and ultimately the progress of Jeff/Jim's 10 man raids. Based on our current progress of 'learning as we go' for normal Firelands, I don't think we're up to the task of tackling Dragon Soul out the gate. Remember, Blizzard already nerfed Firelands quite a bit before the third raid took a stab at it. In 4.3, I don't anticipate Blizzard nerfing normal mode Dragon Soul too much because the LFR easy mode Dragon Soul is in place. I want to see how things pan out.

That being said, there is an opening for a raid leader for the third raid. I'm pretty sure that raiders do not like my mute self leading a raid and would prefer someone that talked on Mumble. If someone is up to the task of putting together the third raid, speak up on the forums. If that raid leader doesn't want to wait for two to four weeks and wants to go in there immediately, that's perfectly fine. I would support such a raid on my paladin tank/healer if the raid leader needed me.

I will also be approving gbank requests for people that have been faithful to the third raid. I can track raid attendance here,

I recall that PvP season ended a week before the patch came. Wasn't that the case?

Edit: Oh, nevermind. Maybe I confused it with the fact that season 10 started a week after the patch, not season 9 ending a week earlier than the patch. I don't know, whatever. I guess maybe it is next week?

Yes, the new content and the arena season end on the same week. The new arena season has always started one week later.
