greetings! welcome to midnight! i hope everyone has fun leveling and exploring the new content. this thread will contain general information about guild policies and their evolution throughout the midnight expansion. it will be updated whenever appropriate. unless there are objections it is probably safe to assume that i will continue to run things the same way as usual.
as is the case at the beginning of every expansion guild ranks have been reset. almost everyone that is active should be ranked as member. if you are returning to the game and are ranked as inactive please request a promotion from an officer. the forged alliance raiders and forged alliance mythic plus communities will eventually be updated based on what characters everyone decides to play.
for those that interested in raiding i created a google survey to get a sense of what we have for a raid team. as always feel free to play whatever you prefer and we will adjust accordingly. it also includes a section for those interested in mythic+. no worries if you change your mind somewhere along the way, but please complete it based on your current plans and availability here:

the first tier raids in midnight are the voidspire and the dreamrift, followed by the march on quel'danas. the voidspire and the dreamrift will be available on 3/17, and the march on quel'danas will be available on 3/31. the requirements for raiders are tbd but when they are determined they will be updated here:

mythic+ season one will be available on 3/24. for those interested in mythic+ shenanigans we will continue to use the forged alliance mythic plus community. more information on that is here:

greetings! i hope everyone has had / is having fun leveling and exploring the new content! i've a few updates as we approach the beginning of season 1.
thank you to everyone that completed the raider survey! the initial results have been posted and it looks like we will continue with mostly the same schedule in midnight, but potentially switch to a 3 hour raid. if you have not done so please complete the survey before the end of the week.
the raider requirements have been updated based on my initial guess as to what will be required for the voidspire. the short version is you should have an ilvl of at least 230ish, but not worry too much about enchants and gems until the server economy normalizes, although there are cheap options for some things while people are leveling professions. for the first week of raiding we will use an open calendar invite, after which i will purge the raider community and probably start using it for the week of 3/24. if you are not in guild you will not be able to see the invite for the week of 3/17 so if you are interested in raiding please let me know and i will add you.
based on the results of our normal manaforge omega shenanigans i am inclined to try a similar approach again, although i will probably at least read the dungeon journal so i have some idea of what to expect. depending on how it goes this may or may not be the end of this experiment.

the raider requirements have been updated based on what i think will be required for getting through normal mode and the earlier heroic bosses. the short version is you should have an ilvl of at least 250ish and have whatever enchants and gems seem reasonable. depending on how this week goes i will probably enforce these requirements for the week of 3/31. the raider community should be mostly updated based on who raided this week, but if you have not received an invite please let me know.
mythic+ starts this week so the mythic+ community community has been purged of all characters that aren't level 90. whenever appropriate feel free to rejoin on whatever character(s) you want. +6s grant heroic gear so that will become the best way to gear if we can get through them.
