ZA Raid 2/13/08

Post by dudepal »

I'm thinking about doing a ZA raid on Wednesday as well as the one on Friday.  Just trying to see what kind of interest there would be.  We'll probably try and run it around 5 server so that people can also make the group 3 kara raid if necessary.  If we have more than the required 10 for one or the other of the time slots, we'll try and split people up evenly so everyone can get a chance.  Just make sure to say whether one or the other is preferable if you can make both.  In addition,  ZA is a harder instance than kara, and because we are still trying to learn the fights, you may be turned down for a spot at this time.  Don't fret though, as the kara groups continue everyone will get geared up more, and we'll try and give you a spot as soon as possible in the future. These 2 ZA times may or may not become regular depending on attendance.  Anyways, I hope to hear from everybody that is interested. :)

Oh, I'm pretty sure that W R F is the reset timer for this week, so in this case the friday group will be continuing Wednesday's progress, and trying to get us to the later bosses that have the really good loots.

I'm in for Fridays anytime I'm in town, since I run G3 on Wed and I'm not home in time to do 5pm.  1 or 2 Fridays a month, I won't be available since I fly to LA or the Fiance comes up here for the weekend.

I should be able to make Wednesdays at that time if I head in to work a little earlier (and thus be able to leave a little earlier), but it looks like you have your core healer group already set up. Let me know if you guys have space for subs sometimes though.

Would love to, but earliest I can make it is 7pm server time on weekdays. I *might* be able to squeeze 6pm, but I couldn't commit to the time.

Chuunks/Drumble/Glynk available depending on what you need.  (Though it would be best for me to park Glynk at Kara for the G3 run @8)

Would love to run ZA but I won't be able to get on until 7pm server since I work until 6:30pm every weekday.

Sounds like we'd have a lot of people that could make it if we scheduled a bit later, but I also don't want to intrude on G3.  Based on responses here, I'm not sure we'll have enough to form a raid tonight, but some people may not check the forums all that often.  So I think I will form the group up between 5 and 6, and if there aren't enough people on by 6:15 We'll just save a fresh instance for friday night.

I dont think we should necessarily consider 8 the stop time -- I'm happy to step out when Akuma gets on to take over.  You only need replacements for the people who have to leave ... which is just a few of us anyways?

I found myself as a cleansebot more than I was healing during our Hex Lord attempts, what are you guys thoughts on that? Should I forgo cleansing the smaller stuff (venome spit, etc) and try to get more healing in?

Chain heal and purge would be very helpful as well :P     Edit: good news, I got out of work for tonight, so I'll be on for whatever
