I'm excited as well, especially with the extra traffic we are getting from the main WOW site, I'd encourage everyone to try to donate what they can, even if its a buck it will help. Im digging through Koko's wallet while he's on coffe break right now and I'm glad to say he is contributing nicely to the fund. /pats koko on the back

haha, I kinda noticed I was a little short on my lunch money today. I thought I had more but now I know where it went. It's okay TJ knows he will be buying me lunch next week and it will be with his own money and not my contribution.

So being that it's a purchaseable skin, aren't we just gonna run the risk of our site looking like every other guild's website?

That first skin looked like World of Starcraft and the second kind of did too, but they were cool and stylish! However, I like the more standard WOW looking skin and would be happy with either. I'll contribute up to $20 if you need it; just let me know.

No more suicidal, naked gnomes! In all seriousness, we need a site that looks as close to a Microsoft Office application as possible.

Wow.... Jon.... Time to lay off the Blindweed.

The office application look meaning it doesn't scream 'hey i'm not working'...in big flashing colors.

Yeah, it is kind of embarassing when my secretary is working hard at answering the phones and she barges into my office to find me browsing the FA and WOW websites!!! Got to angle my flat panel away from the door!!!

Hehe, yeah my vote for a design is something that looks like an IT consulting site =)

What's wrong with something very simple and minimal? Something like a Google or Thottbot design? Both sites are extremely functional, don't really look bad, and wouldn't necessarily give away what you all are doing at work. A fancy-ass WoW skin is cool and all, but do we NEED to spend the money or could we design something that we all like that's simple and achievable? (Which I, of course, could not do due to my complete lack of any sort of website skills.)

With all kidding aside, it's been great to have a guild website working and I know every appreciates Old Geezer putting the time, effort, hosting money, etc into it. So I'll be more than glad to chip in on the $10 for a different design if we want something more cutting edge and to promote the quality of the guild. I personally don't feel like putting in a lot of free time to come up with a new design for our site and code it, and definitely don't expect someone else to run with that. I mean why spend 12 hours on guild website changes when you could be playing. So thanks Geezer, count me in for the fund if you feel like buying something.

Here is my vote. I would like a fancy shmancy website for the guild and I'm willing to donate to the cause. Most of the poeple that I speak with on Vent seem like adults with jobs and I know that I make much more an hour than what I would waste coding a website and hosting it (if I could even do any coding to save my life). $100 is peanuts for all of us and as I said before, I would be willing to dish out $20 myself. Or it could be $10 from GAthgor and $10 from Xandor. And visitors and potential recruits will appreciate a snazzy design. Robert
