No Gruuls on Tuesdays

Post by Han »

Whats the obsession with Gruuls and Mag?  I realize some people are joking about it, but also people seriously want to do these raids.... Over T5 raids...Raiders should be pushing forward with content, not backwards.   We are killing all T5 bosses in one night, and averaging like 4 or 5 tries to learn these fights.  Thats absurdly fast progression, and there is no reason we can't move on to Tier 6 bosses quickly.  I don't care if your 14th alt needs his T4 token, nor do I care if you want a pvp token.  We are not planning on farming every instance to death to get everyone every single piece of loot they need (and all of their alts).  We dont have enough time to do that.  Progression is fun, and that is our mission, so please help us all out and suggest instances further along.  We need everyones help pushing this guild forward.

I like badges!  Free badges! I'm agreeing with you -- at the point when people are swapping in their alts for free pickups, we should be done with the instance.  Plus, as we experienced -- even knowng and outgearing a fight isn't enough - some of the boss mechanics will kill you and the entire raid if one person screws up .. I dont mind clearing the instances on an off night -- but I think Wednesday should be more progression oriented as well (we raided Weds and not Thurs last week even).  First couple in SSC to pave the way, check how things are and either head on further -- or back to earlier content. My opinion at least ...

im always up for what ever raid we are doing but to me  i dont see anyone in the guild that is so undergeared  that gruuls/mag is a major upgrade to me if we cant make our t5 raids time would be better spent in kara /  za i know thats not really the point of the thread, I dont see any real reason we  could not be doing full clears on either TK or SSC though

Edited I don't think that Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are good days to do Gruul and Mag because as the above have posted, we are way past that.  Progression past that level has come and gone.  But, it is still fun.  So lets try to do it on a non raiding day for a good time, and see what we get.  Gruuls only takes an hour, and I there is a few people interested in doing it.  I know that Order of Laibach hasn't done any Gruuls in awhile due to decreased numbers and interest, but there is some there that would go as far as I can tell.  Could I maybe get enough interest to put together a quick dual-guild run on a saturday afternoon or evening?  Post if its cool and ill make a thread with signups.
