Vent server

Greetings.... Without any prior notice, our vent service contract expired yesterday and they shut down the server.

I dont mind renewing it if there is interest in keeping it up but there is a cost of 113 per year. So I toss this out to the guild... should we renew the contract and keep vent?

I think we should. It's used often enough. Is there still money in the guild fund for that, or should we start a donation thing?

I had tried donating when you were all taking donations last, but the link to the paypal site did not work. I would be happy to donate for Jason and I if you just let me know how.

We still have like 75-80 in the paypal account we can use, so we really dont have to come up with that much. Ill check in a bit and see exactly how much it is.

Ok If we want to keep it goin im happy to renew it. The fee to renew is 113. Once the immediate need is handled for the vent server, we can talk about website maintenance. The hosting plan is 16 a month and I think we payed for it via pay pal last year at the same time we renewed vent for another year. I am having a hard time believing we've had the vent server going for 2 full years now... wow.

I have a 25 man vent that cost me 10 a month, i pay it monthly
