I think it was terrific that we were able to gather together enough other members, padded with alts - to get a second raid going! That said -- I think we can all collectively agree that it was a "good opportunity to learn/grow" for some people, we had a lot of new raiders and I think was a worthy wake-up-call to the raid environment. Here's a couple suggestions for some successful future attempts:Quest Gear -- DO THEM ALL. There is plenty of quest / instance gear out there that will have you stacked and plenty geared for the first half of the instance.Educate Thyself --- www.wowwiki.com, www.bosskillers.com, www.warcraftmovies.com, www.wow-loot.com, youtube, etc. -- there are PLENTY of resources out there to quickly educate yourself on the encounters. Sure you need to experience an encounter to get a feel for it, but better to be prepared with an idea of how it should go, then the learning experience is what to do when things turn sour (rather than what to do just to do it right).Consumables --- This is the reason we farm them. You should have plenty of battle / guardian elixirs -- food buffs -- weapon stones -- healing/mana pots -- etc. etc. etc. AND USE THEM. Dont hover over that potion wondering if you should click it -- get the best and use it.STOP PLAYING YOUR ALT IF YOUR MAIN IS NOT READY --- we are handicapped by the weakest link in a raid environment. Dont be that guy.The three "P"s --- practice practice practice, it's going to take some time to learn to work with the rest of the raid group. To know when you can rely on a mob running back to the clothies because of a hunter trap (and relying that the hunter will call it out if it's resisted) -- all of that is going to take the experience of working with a consistant group in a raid environment. Please add stuff to this list if you feel it is appropriate..

Great stuff Chuunks. There are valid points here folks. Please be sure to educate yourself on your class as there are specific roles we all need to undertake when raiding. Kara is not easy. The better prepared we are, the more success and ultimately fun we have
