Tuesday 9/4 Raid Report

We tried something different last night while inviting, personally I think it worked out well - but I got a few tells from various people that it didn't work well from their standpoint. Essentially everyone who wanted to go was invited and encouraged to sort it out themselves.Reasons why I think this works:-- people who got in know who had to sit out for them, and would hopefully recognize this next week-- people get a glimpse into the tough decisions the RL has to make-- people are empowered by their own choices, perhaps making an easier negotiation on a per-boss basisReasons why this might not work:-- It shouldn't be just 'about the loot per boss' -- it's fun to raid regardless.-- It relies on people being nice to each other, instead of enforcing "raid etiquette" (that is, mains >> alts and people who have consistantly been there and on time >> random occasionals)-- There are specific class requirements that will always receive a raid position, forcing this to be somewhat of a "DPS only" sorting.Unfortunately last night was also tempered with a few power / internet outages too - so that helped make some decisions. But I felt it would be good to open this up for discussion if anyone has problems/comments/questions with this system.Special thanks to Kaittlynn and Nagashi for stepping in when folks had to leave before Aran, getting rid of all that trash really frees up the instance for "whatever boss you want to go to".Here's the haul -- Attumen:Shard / Shard / Shard / Shard(Shaman Heal bracers, Rogue gloves)Moroes:Dudepal -- MONGOOSE ENCHANT!!!! Whats the plan for finishing this thing up? Friday? (can you tell I am available on friday?) Monday? Sunday?

Sunday is rough since we wont have Quani -- Monday is rough because I have a previous engagement -- Best bet for me would be Thursday thru Saturday.The bright side is that with Shade down -- it's a "choose any boss" situation. So we can swarm to whoever we need even if we only have an hour or so (outside of 'gathering/inviting').
