What is your raid experience?
I was most active in BC. I did almost everything, except Kil'jaeden (I took a break before GoF got to it).
I wasn't as active in WotLK as I was in BC; I only got to the early raiding content. I got past Naxx, but not to Ulduar or anything past that.

Why did you leave your previous (current) guild?
My current guild is one that belongs to some friends and is basically inactive. I'm in the process of finding a raiding guild that has raiding schedules that suit me.

Does anyone in our guild know you?
No, not that I know of.

How did you find out about our guild?
I was looking at the forums for recruiting guilds, and came across the FA recruitment post. I did know about FA during the times I was active though.

How many alts do you have and is this your main?
Yes, my main is my priest. I don't have any other 85 alts as of now - I haven't had much motivation or time to level them. The closest one is a 83 DK.

What are your play times?
I'm usually on every night. I commute to and from campus daily so that takes up a lot of my time. However, somehow, I still find time to log on every night.

What of our raid times would you be able to make?
If the raid times start at 8pm server, I can make it to all raid days/times. Whether it's the core group or the second group, it works fine for me.

Would you be willing to sit out if it is necessary without a fuss?
I understand that there are times when it's not possible to incorporate everyone into a raid group when necessary. It's not something that can be helped and generally it's not like raid leaders are happy about excluding people. So short answer, yes.

Have you spent proper time and money into your gear / enchants / gems?
Everything is properly enchanted and gemmed. Although I haven't been raiding, almost all my gear is upgraded to heroics with some preraiding epics.

Raiders are expected to bring consumables to raids. In the following categories what consumable would you bring and why?
- Flask/Elixirs:Flask of the Draconic Mind - I find that a boost to intellect will be better than a boost to spirit in the long run. With DMC proc, I should have an extra 400 spirit up at all times anyways.
- Well Fed: Intellect / Stamina, (Severed Sagefish Head).
- Potion: Mana potion, for mana.

What is the (spell) hit your character needs to be viable in a raid?
17%, 1742 rating.
I never DPSed in raids though.

What is the basic gemming strategy for your character?
Mostly intellect and spirit in blue sockets, and intellect and haste in yellow sockets. Those are the main gems that suits my character. I need both intellect and spirit, and extra haste due to most of my gear having mastery rating.

What is the basic reforging strategy for your character?
I reforge everything to spirit, as I don't have all spirit gear due to compromises. I always reforge the least important stat in the piece of gear. I keep master rating though, over haste and crit.

What is your favorite boss fight and why? What boss haven't you fought that you're looking forward to the most?
My favorite and most memorable boss fight was Vashj. I was with a small guild on a low populated server at the time, and we worked countless nights on her. The fight itself was fun, but it was frustrating at the same time. We did down her eventually, and the feeling of accomplishment felt so nice. That's basically what I'm looking for in future boss fights - working together to progress and to feel that feeling of accomplishment.

What boss mod(s) do you use?
Big Wigs.
I do have DBM installed, but it's not loaded.

What website(s) do you use to read up on encounters proactively?
I usually just google things ... and it ends up being sites like wowwiki. But I generally try to find videos because it gives a better overall picture of what's going on.

I read the whole 21+ age guideline. Well, 19 is legal in Canada, so, I would consider it a proper guideline for maturity as well. Although I don't believe in a strict age-maturity correlation, I do understand the use of one. I'm just here to have fun and to raid, and that's mainly what I want to get out of this game.

I like this guy, I know nothing about priests though, but from I can tell everything looks good, talk to an officer in game for invite!

2 things though: 1) Vashj was never fun, ever 2) The age thing is so we keep a relatively mature environment, basically so gchat never resembles trade chat.

We are lucky to have a couple of really knowledgeable priests in the guild so I'll let them check your gear for accuracy but the app looks great to me.

looks good to me as well. the age thing is basically a rough measure of expected behavior, as long as you're cool and not trolling, spamming, or being generally disrespectful, it won't be an issue. you can probably raid with group 2 this week if you want, tuesday / thursday at 8, see the thread in general for more info.
as for vashj, i'm entertained that people still can't get through it even now.

Woot, I don't have to work on my pally anymore. Time to go back to fishing and archaeology.

Nice to get our priest numbers moving in the right direction. I remember we used to have a lot of white among those 25 raid frames (Tsuni, Dudepal, Quani, Amelya, Hellie, Saraphin, Kreekor). Now all we can do is make a 10 man raid full of druids.
