Logged on today, most of my gear, items, all my gold on all my alts are MIA. Funny, it was the day i got the MOP beta invite. I opened a ticket, if i dont get all my stuff back, I am quitting WoW, too much hard work, not going through that again. Hopefully I get my gear back before raid. My head is on fire I am so mad.

that sux, you probably got phished. they're usually pretty good about restoring accounts.

That's why you don't click on links in e-mails. I really wish that people wouldn't refer to this sort of thing as hacking -- it's social engineering. Until society as a whole gets into the habit of safe practices like verifying identities (which is why I ask people to log onto an in-guild toon before requesting an invite for an alt), these vectors for attack will never be closed.

Yeah, I had my stuff all restored pretty quick when I got jacked a few years ago. Hopefully they are quick with yours too.

Do you have an authenticator? If not you might have a keylogger, and use the on screen keyboard when you log on, it will prevent the corresponding ASCII codes to the key from being generated as so. I've been hacked in the past and you will get your stuff back within the day if you call blizzard up by phone.

No, i do not have an authenticator but i'm sure getting one now. and no i never clicked on any suspicious links in my email without confirming its legit. Looks like i need to stop hanging around the wrong crowd in SW.

Fixed; got all my gear, gold ect. back besides my real id friends.
