Raid Nights

Between the quantity of "what are we doing tonight?" tells I get, and the lack of people I see online/motivated for Wednesday's raid -- I figure people just weren't aware of the raid nights and what we're trying to do to progress further.   So everyone is aware of what the "raid plan" is -- here is the current schedule: Invites @ 7:30 -- first pull when full -- anticipate raiding until 11 server at least. Tuesday
   Tempest Keep:   Al'ar > High Astromancer Solarian > Void Reaver
     any extra time:   SSC Wednesday
   Serpentshrine Cavern:    Hydross > Lurker Below > Leotheras the Blind > Fathom-lord Karathress > Morrogrim Tidewalker
    any extra time:   Magtheridon > Gruul's Lair Thursday
   Serpentshrine Cavern:    whatever bosses are left > Vashj
    any extra time:  any bosses left It will be this way for a couple weeks, while we loot up from the TK bosses - then Hyjal.  At which point we will push everything a step back.  At this point - Wednesday has had a frustrating lack of members online, and last week we didn't have our raid Thursday lacking people ... we're forced in a situation - to progress we need to recruit.  Now some of you who are slack about coming, are going to have to prove / earn your raid positions.   I don't like the situation, but it's a problem and now we're forced to deal with it.  I know of 6 new enthusiastic raiders lined up that are server transferring at the end of this week.  Recruiting will continue as long as we're in this situation .. I HATE staying online for 2 hours waiting for a raid that doesn't materialize.  I'm not the only one.

I have a really random and totally unplottable schedule...some weeks I'm home without much to do for days at a time, some weeks I'm gone almost every day/night for a few days, back and forth.   That being said, I really do like to raid and want to. Tonight I was home about 10 minutes too late to get into the raid, which is a bummer. Last night I was ready and waiting but nothing ever really materialized. The lame thing is, it's been consistent for me to be home and ready on the nights where we end up not being able to go, and to be late by a bit for the nights I really want to go and you do end up going. Basically, unless I'm told ahead of time, "we really want you/need you to go tonight", I'm not going to take extraordinary measures to cut my day short, because when I do, like tonight, I"m usually too late anyway, or I'm not needed. But I have no problem going for when I am.   I really do want to see these instances too. :-/
