Wotlk and Rethinking your Spec
I am not an officer in this guild, so I apologize if anyone thinks I'm overstepping my bounds a bit here. As many of you may or may not know, in Wotlk there is a more friendly emphasis toward the 10-man raid settup. I don't know how it will exactly pan out, but a beginning Kara settup was 3 healers, 2 tanks, and 5 DPS. Looking around the guild lately, there seems to be a shortage of the tank and healing variety. One recent afternoon I logged on to find 21 people online and not a single one but myself had a mainspec character who was either heals or a tank. While I know it is very fun to DPS and see giant numbers come up (I've been playing a lot of boomkin myself lately) I hope some of you might think about perhaps trying out a new spec in Wotlk so the guild is able to put together enough 10 man raids and keep everyone progressed. Unless I am forgetting some people, at the moment we could probably only put together two maybe three regular and correctly built 10-mans, which would leave a lot of DPS to find pugs to gear up in the expansion. Remember you won't have all your fancy multiple gear sets to start off with. Anyway, just my thoughts, feel free to smack me if I'm way off base.

Im going to be leveling dps holy, then switching to a full healing spec at 80 so there's one healer.

My plan is to level Kaittlynn first because she will be the easiest to level with her gear. My hopes this weekend is to actually get on Jazz and do a bunch of quests to turn in AFTER I upload the expansion-- try to get a head start. It is hard for me to level the Pally-- I know Jazz was 60 when expansion hit, yet I was able to start my lock and get her to 70 before Jazz. I know heals are important, so I am willing to try to level her if I can get some help. Aside from that, being that it is going to be mainly 5 and 10 mans at first--I think people level with an ideal group in mind. If you do not have a group in mind-- maybe you should post so that we can see who else would be interested in a leveling group. I know that there are a lot of new people to the guild that aren't really in a 'group'. I think as players, when we are comfortable with a group of friends that it is hard to get to know newer people. Please don't let yourself get left out of a group-- Holla so we can take care of ya~

I plan on leveling Hamline first as a dps and healing option. And I'm sure a death knight will soon follow.

Inori levelled with a holy healing spec from 1-70; I like the pain. Inori will most likely level PvE healing discipline until level 73, then she's switching over to 51/13 holy/disc the rest of the way (I need the 3 points in meditation). Offtank will stay full protection.Aezelkvalae wrote Looking around the guild lately, there seems to be a shortage of the tank and healing variety. I will be leveling my Shadowpriest first then work on my Rogue. But i still look into looking for a 'group' since i am not in one. Let me know if you guys need a SP for a group I will be more than happy to run with ya guys in anything.

Dag was gonna be my first charcter to 80 lvling ret and maybe staying ret for a tiny bit then going Prot always liked a prot pally over prot warrior for some reason. Warrior will be mainly dps and my priest well...not to sure on her yet depending on what we need more ill mainspec her that.
