We had kind of a rough go of it last night, our only one shot was Chess: Shade of Aran: I blew us up in the flame wreath this time while trying to take that one extra step to an elemental before he cast. Though I had stood still for a good 3 seconds thinking "whew - cut that one close", a couple seconds later I was flying into the air. On the lighter side, everyone got to hear me sing:
http://shadeofaranchant.ytmnd.com/ .. and we're adopting this method of "learning experiences". If you do something obvious and wrong and it was a learning experience for you, you're obligated to share that with the group in the form of a song. This was: " I will not move when Flame Wreath is cast or the raaaaaaid bloooooows uuuuuuup." .. but equally good would have been: " Fargol don't run to the very next room we didn't cleeeeeeeear thooooooose mooooooooobs." " Watch for the beams, dont walk across or you'll caaaaaaauusse aaaaaaaaaa wiiiiiiiipe." " When you're enfeebled, be very careful but run reeeeeeeeall faaaaast. " " Watch your aggro after Netherspites Banish since he stilllllll seeeeeeeees threeeeeat." Second attempt we got him before the Poly though -- way to pick it up! Paudrons of the Justice Seeker --- Killean Shermanar Great-Ring --- Amulec Netherspite -- it's all about the beam rotations, but there were a couple learning/re-emphasis points: --- He still has a threat table you need to pay attention to. Whoever has the red beam will have aggro, but he runs a little loose sometimes during the banish. And there's still a good 5 seconds when he comes out and the portals haven't shot thier beams yet. Make sure he doesn't run back to the raid and swat you by controlling your aggro (or preferrably dumping it). Additionally -- anyone taking the RED beam is in danger of being one-shot, sometimes they get the aggro before the buffage. Also, make sure if you're swapping for RED, make sure you take it instead of someone running away -- because they dont lose aggro until someone else is in it (and be next to the dragon so he doesn't move). Pantaloons of Repentance -- Dudepal Shining Chain of the Afterworld -- Quani Chess -- .. Bladed Shoulderpads of the Merciless - Miramel Tryptych Shield of the Ancients - shard Prince -- I HATE LEAVING YOU ALIVE. One wipe at 2% -- 30seconds away from shield wall. Our last wipe at 6% -- we made it to 6% even though we had two DPS die in the first minute. That's a win to me .. but we just didn't win the purples along with it.

I dont have any words of wisdom or growth on this one, there is a good amount of luck with this -- and we're getting better and better and pushing the bar towards success even when it dips towards severely bad luck (2 dead in 1 minute). Actually it worked pretty well having TJ call out the infernals when he was lying face up, and I think that should be the general rule -- if you die, you become the "infernal caller" so the raid isn't distracted with the duty.
